Informacje biograficzne

Jolanta KOWAL doktor nauk ekonomicznych (Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny, Wrocław, 1995), certyfikowany analityki jungowski (International Association for Analytica Psychology, IAAP, Kyoto, 2016, Japonia) jest adiunktem (od 1996) w Instytucie Psychologii. W latach 2004 - 2015 profesor nadzwyczajny Wyższej Szkoły Zarządzania "Edukacja" (Prorektor d.s. nauki i rozwoju 2008-2015).

Prowadzi badania w zakresie metodologii, psychologii ekonomicznej i zarządzania, w szczególności w zakresie kapitału ludzkiego, kompetencji, satysfakcji z pracy, etyki i społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu i wielokulturowych wpływów psychoanalizy, również w aspekcie gender.

Jest autorką i współautorką ponad 100 recenzowanych prac naukowych, m. in. w Electronic Journal of Information Systems in Emerging Economies, Journal of Global Technology Management, Journal of Business Economic Management Information technology for Development, Econometrics. Członek redakcji czasopism naukowych, w tym redaktor statystyczny czasopisma POkish Journal of Applied Psychology, Gospodarka, Rynek, Edukacj Prowadziła wykłady dotyczące  badań własnych w Bułgarii, Czechach, Słowacji, na Cyprze, we Francji, USA i Wielkiej Brytanii.

Współorganizatorka naukowych konferencji międzynarodowych w Polsce i Niemczech (m.in CMEP, ICTM - akredytowana przez AIS, Polish Chapter), współprzewodnicząca cyklicznych międzynarodowych konferencji ICTM pod auspicjami  The Special Interest Group on ICT and Global Development (SIG GlobDev) of The Association of Information Systems (AIS). Jolanta Kowal, PhD. Of economic sciences (1995, University of Economics, Wroclaw, Poland), certified Jungian analyst (Individual Member of IAAP, since 2016, Kyoto, Japan) is tutor and researcher, Adjunct at the Institute of Psychology at the University of Wrocław, Associate Professor of Management “Edukacja”, Wrocław, Poland (Vice -Rector at the College of Management “Edukacja”, Wrocław, Poland, 2008-2015). She is a member of scientific associations: Association for Information Systems (AIS) and its Polish Chapter PLAIS (President of PLAIS since 2016),  PTPA (Polish Association of Analytical Psychology, President since 2013) accredited by IAAP (International Association of Analytical Psychology in Zurich), and member of  PTS (Polish Statistical Association).She has been the organizer and co-chair of the scientific events concerned with AIS as conferences: ICTM 2012-2016, CMEP 2012-2014, minitrack and panel session of AMCIS 2014-2016, among many others. Jolanta has been the member of scientific committees and reviewer of international journals as Telematics and Informatics, Information technology for Development, Journal of Business Economics and Management, Informatics, of conferences concerned with AIS as: SIGSAND/PLAIS EuroSymposium since 2014, AMCIS since 2010 and HICSS since 2010. Jolanta is a member of editorial boards of two scientific journals (statistical editor): the Polish Journal of Applied Psychology (PJAP) and Gospodarka Rynek Edukacja (GRE). She is associated research editor of Cambridge Scholars Publishing (UK), College of Management “Edukacja” Publishing House  (ICTM Proceedings) and LAMBERT Publishing House (Germany). Her research focuses on methodology, management, competences, job satisfaction, business ethics, ethics of IT professions, corporate social responsibility (CSR), organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) and multicultural influences of psychoanalysis, also in gender contexts. Jolanta has given lectures concerning her research in Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Great Britain and Slovakia. She authored and co - authored more than 100 peer -reviewed scientific books and papers, published in Journal of Business Economics and Management (JBEM), Journal of Global Information Technology Management (JGITM), Econometrics, Lecture Notes on Business Information Processing (LNBIP, Springer), AMCIS and HICSS proceedings, among many others (http://orcid.org/0000-0002-6241-9603).

The project Fri " Web site Knowledge Transfer " was realized in the period from 01.10.2010 to 30.09.2012 under the Human Capital Operational Programme , sub 8.2.1 Support for cooperation between science and business . The purpose of the action taken was to increase the region's potential for innovation by strengthening the cooperation between the R & D sector and the economy, which would contribute to increasing the competitiveness of companies in the region.
